Robin Dumas is a commercial technology lawyer, with nearly twenty years of experience counseling Fortune 500, emerging growth, non-profit, and privately held organizations. Robin provides clients with advice regarding a wide variety of matters, including high value, mission critical licensing and SaaS/cloud arrangements; mobile application development; strategic partnering; business process and technology/systems outsourcing and off-shoring; system integration; and complex technology services’ agreements.

Practical and solution-oriented, Robin works closely with her clients to develop training and other programs to more efficiently manage high volume legal workflow.

In addition, Robin counsels clients on privacy and security policies, privacy notices, information asset protection policies, and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the same.

Robin began her legal career as an associate at Testa, Hurwitz and Thibeault, and Bingham McCutchen. She previously served as the General Counsel for Partners In Health, and was a partner at the firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish. For the last decade, she has enjoyed a successful solo practice.

Robin graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 1987 with a B.A. in French Horn performance. For several years, she was a freelance musician in New York City before returning to Boston. Thereafter, Robin worked for several years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Department of Academic Computing, before attending law school. She is a 1997 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law.
